The Limit Does Not Exist ♾️

Hey Reader,

Over a decade ago, I started experimenting with a plant-based diet.

During that time, my main concern was, "How the heck do I make anything?"

You know… like cake. 🧁

How do I make cake without eggs?

Being without animal products felt like a huge limitation with cooking and baking.

Until it wasn't.

Because when I actually started diving into all of those plant-based recipes, I realized there were SO MANY alternative ways to make delicious tasting treats that I never knew before.

(FYI: Depending on the recipe, I could replace eggs with flax seed, aquafaba, or silken tofu to name a few!)

So while you might initially think my food world was getting smaller, I'd argue that it actually expanded.

Through limitation, I got more creative.

And I learned that there's always more than one way to do something, even if we don't realize it at first.

The Limit Does Not Exist

This is the exact thinking I like to instill in my packing students.

Yes, my packing class (Baggage Freedom Express) challenges you to complete a packing mission with a super small bag.

But it's not done to limit you.

It's actually done to help expand your mind. 🧠

If you think this sounds like something you need in your life, be sure to register for our next class starting March 15th.

I hope to see you there!

Happy packing,

Brooke

Hey Reader, Have you always thought that reaching carry-on only would automatically equal light luggage? ...only to find you still can't lift your bag easily or move around comfortably? Friend, you are not alone. There's no doubt that traveling with carry-on luggage instead of checked bags is a massive improvement. But here's the part most people don't talk about: Carry-on luggage is still a lot of stuff. Your carry-on can hold up to 45L.Your personal item can easily be another 20L. Fill...

Hey Reader, When I think back to how packing used to be for me… Before I learned how to ultralight pack… 💡 I can only compare the change to a light switch going on in my brain. Even though I had been on a downward trajectory in luggage size for years, that last big leap into leaving with just a 12L messenger bag for weeks truly changed everything. There was a very clear BEFORE and AFTER. That change was so profound, I often end up describing it as if I: Started operating on a different...

Hey Reader, Most people when they're packing, they're just packing clothes. They're not thinking in capsules. Because of that, their bags end up overstuffed and with outfits that don't mix and match. If you're not thinking in capsules, it's time to change. I just filmed a new video discussing the do's and don'ts of travel capsule wardrobes that will get you on the right path.
