Hey Reader, β£When you break it down, Santa is the ultimate light packer. He's able to pack carry-on only for his round-the-world trip that he takes every year - amazing! He also travels with just one bag so that it's easy for him to move around in cramped travel spaces like chimneys and tiny accommodations.β£ β£What makes it all possible?β£ β π βοΈ π βοΈ πβ π He makes a list and checks it twice.β£When Santa figured out what works, he recreates that for his big trip every year - and with the list, he never forgets something important (like your gift π). β£ π He doesn't worry about outfit repeating.β£If he's seen in the same outfit in all of his travel photos, he doesn't let that bother him.β£ In fact!β¦ It's his signature look, and we'd think it was weird if he wasn't in the same outfit. Let that sink in. β£ π His wardrobe is versatile enough to travel to multiple climates on the same trip.β£It all comes down to layers. You better believe that underneath his big red suit is a tank top and board shorts so he can surf some waves down here in Australia.β£ β£ π His accessories game is strong.β£That big black belt, those white gloves, and that fuzzy hat all add to the potential for outfit variations and easy new looks.β£ β£ π He packs only the essentials.β£It's the only way he can accommodate the space for the thousands of gifts the trip calls for packing. When everything else is minimized, he's able to fit it all into such a tiny bag. It almost seems like β¨magicβ¨.β£ β π βοΈ π βοΈ πβ Would YOU like to pack like Santa?Get on the waitlist for the next Baggage Freedom Express masterclass. Hey Reader, You may have heard the commotion lately on this hot topic! Many travelers are talking about the changes happening to Southwest Airlines' baggage policy. Up until now, Southwest has allowed travelers to bring up to 2 pieces of checked luggage for free! What luxury! But, starting May 28th, you will need to pay to bring checked luggage - something they haven't done for the past 50 years π± The news may come as a shock to anyone who chooses to fly Southwest specifically for this...
Hey Reader, Would you like to take your packing list from economy to first class? Of course you would! But before we get into that, I wanted to remind you all that I am running the HPL Annual Reader Survey right now. It would be extremely helpful for me to know a bit more about you. And, since I've been stuck in bed sick for the past week, I've extended the deadline for the $30 Amazon Gift Card drawing to February 9th! Now, onto the packing list... Hey Reader, Before taking Baggage Freedom Express, Kim was hesitant: "I thought I was beyond help, having packed this way for so very long." Can you relate? Kim was stuck in a packing rut. 𧳠While old habits die hard, our inability to get out of a rut often comes down to not clearly seeing an alternative (and viable) path. For some, packing light feels like finding a nice, new route that hasn't yet been added to Google Maps. It'll be incredibly frustrating trying to track it down without help...
